The Korean-German Joint Conference is an annual conference, organized by the Alumni Network Germany-Korea. The goal of each conference is to offer a platform for exchange between research projects and to support and promote research cooperation between Korea and Germany. We want to give universities, research or ministerial institutions and companies the opportunity to develop international partnerships.

The first conference took place in 2009 and was held in Seoul, South Korea. Because the past international conferences were very successful, with topics such as „Green Growth against Climate Change“ (2011), „Basic Science“ (2012), „Research and Industry“ (2013), „Future and Technology“ (2014) and „Science and Innovation“ (2015) it was decided to bring the conference to Germany for the first time, after the city of Dresden specifically invited ADeKo.
